To the South of Edinburgh, we take in the stunning Roslyn Chapel, a magnificent example of medieval architecture with designs not fully understood in the modern world. What secrets are kept within the walls, everywhere you look, another frightening gargoyle watches your every move. Many different religions are represented in this apparantly ‘Christian’ place of worship.
Heading East to Dunbar and Tatallon Castle hugging the coast, we lunch and enjoy the pretty town of North Berwick. After lunch and a lovely walk along the beach we head back into the city via Glenkinchie Distillery (Edinburghs Malt Whisky) for a wee dram to finish off the day!
